Because RCC has such a diverse
resident population, we offer a wide variety of social activities,
seven days a week, designed to provide the maximum enjoyment,

The residents, through the Residents’ Council and Activity Planning
Committee, choose the recreation programs to be implemented by our
trained and certified recreation therapists.
Our specially equipped vans allow us to transport groups of wheelchair-bound residents to events and activities throughout the area.

THE COMFORT ZONe
This unique facility utilizes innovative techniques to provide
pain relief for RCC residents. Therapies include: aromatherapy,
massage, Reiki, soothing music and other healing therapies. The goal
is to soothe away pain and stress to improve a patient's health and
sense of well-being.
Bring in your
pets!
RCC residents love to see animals, and we do not
require people to be part of an organized pet-visiting program in
order to participate in our pet therapy program. Anyone of any age
with a generous heart and a well-behaved pet is welcome.
There are a few state guidelines that must be followed – for example,
owners of cats or dogs must present a current vaccination certificate
– so before your first visit, please contact Recreation Director
Joanne Franklin at 732-321-6800, ext. 3218.
Evening of
Elegant Dining
RCC’s “Evening of Elegant Dining” events have been featured in
local and national news publications.
“Elegant Dining” evenings offer our residents and
their family members and friends an opportunity to dress up and enjoy
wine, a gourmet meal and entertainment. Staff members and volunteers
decorate the auditorium, transforming it into an elegant restaurant,
and the tables are set with candles, fine china and silverware.
